A Jewish family's home in the USA was completely burned, but then they discovered: one menorah that belonged to a Holocaust survivor became the last testimony for the family.

Avivi Shifris, the renowned menorah artist, opens up about his impactful creations meant to illuminate the struggle of the captives' families, his giant menorahs, and unique dreidels.

Avivi Shifris crafted the menorah used this week by the President. He is also responsible for producing other famous menorahs, such as those in the Hurva Synagogue, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu's synagogue, and more. "Art is what brought me back to faith; it's no coincidence that I'm so connected to Chanukah."

Recent excavations reveal extraordinary finds from about 2,000 years ago, shedding light on Jewish life in the area. Among the unique discoveries is a lamp with a nine-branched menorah, one of the earliest known such artifacts.
