Is it Permissible to Heat Soup on a Hot Plate on Shabbat?

Hello Rabbi, I would like to ask if it is permissible to heat ground soup on the hot plate during Shabbat.

It is prohibited to heat cold soup on a hot plate on Shabbat, as even if it has been cooked once, there is a further cooking process involved with wet foods, as stated in the Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim (Siman 318, Section 4).
Nevertheless, according to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l, it is permissible to place soup on a hot plate when it is turned off, and after a while, it can turn on by itself through a timer to heat the soup (Responsa Yabia Omer, Volume 10, Orach Chaim, Siman 26).
