Is There a Jewish Explanation for the Déjà Vu Phenomenon?

Could déjà vu be a message from above, or evidence that a person has been in a place before, perhaps in a previous incarnation?

#VALUE!

Hello and blessings, I wanted to ask if there is a Jewish explanation for the phenomenon known as déjà vu. I understand there is a mention of it in the sacred Zohar, thank you.

B'SD

Hello and blessings,

I am not aware of a direct reference to this concept, but I have heard it can be linked to two concepts in Kabbalah:

.1 Reincarnation. That is, a person arrives at a new place and feels they have been there before, because, in reality, in a previous incarnation they lived there.

2. Dreams. That is, when a person sleeps, their soul ascends to the heavens and may receive messages from above about what was and what will be. When the person encounters the same event in their daily life, they feel they recognize the situation and have been in it, as their soul actually remembers a message it already received in the heavens on the matter.

These things are, of course, beyond our understanding, and contain much that is hidden.

Blessings,
