Start Your Morning Right (It's Not Coffee)

Not coffee or tea – the best way to start the morning is with a cup of hot water and lemon. "It's simply magic," says nutritionist Aislin Cambridge, and explains.

Most of us tend to drink coffee in the morning, right after waking up and brushing our teeth, but to really kickstart your day, it's highly recommended to drink a cup of hot water with lemon. This small action, before coffee, can work wonders for your body – from aiding digestion to boosting the immune system, and it might even reduce the risk of stroke.

Nutritionist Aislin Cambridge wrote that to energize yourself – hot water with lemon will do the job. "There is one thing we all need to do the moment we get out of bed, and that's drinking water. It stimulates the body and lowers blood pressure. If you want even more energy, you should drink hot water with squeezed lemon - it's simply magic."
