Is it permitted to move food items without any specific purpose?
It is permitted to move food items even without any specific purpose. Even if the food is frozen or dry bread that is not fit for consumption in its current state, it is permitted to move it since one has the ability to make it edible [Chazon Ovadia p. 9].
Is it permitted to move fruits when it is unknown if they have been tithed?
It is permitted to move fruits when one does not know if tithes and offerings have been separated from them. However, fruits that are definitely untithed or orlah (fruit from trees less than three years old) may not be moved on Shabbat.
Similarly, fruits that fell from a tree or an egg that was laid on Shabbat are forbidden to be moved.
Is it permitted to move raw meat or live fish?
Raw meat from animals and poultry is permitted to be moved since there are places where they are eaten raw. The same applies to types of fish that are eaten raw - they are treated like meat and may be moved even without a specific purpose [Chazon Ovadia p. 14].
