Does One Recite an After-Blessing on Eating a Milk Dessert or Cheese in the Amount of a Kazayit?

One who eats soft foods such as a dairy dessert or cheese in the amount of a kazayit (olive size) within the time frame of kedei achilat pras (the time it takes to eat half a loaf) should recite the Borei Nefashot blessing afterward [Responsa Ach Tov VaChesed Section 8].

If One Blessed Over Wine and Tasted a Little, Does the Wine Exempt Other Beverages?

Those who hear Kiddush and intend to fulfill their obligation, and drink a little of the wine, do not need to make a blessing on drinks consumed after Kiddush [Yechaveh Da'at 5, 20]. One who wishes to avoid any doubt should not taste the wine at all and should recite a blessing on the other beverages [Responsa Ach Tov VaChesed Section 9].
