Essential laws for proper ritual handwashing and blessings after using the restroom

AA

What should one do regarding the mitzvah of handwashing when leaving the restroom and wanting to eat bread immediately?

A person who needed to relieve themselves and wants to eat immediately should rinse their hands three times alternately without using a vessel, then recite Asher Yatzar, and afterward wash their hands with a blessing.

Alternatively, one may wash their hands using a washing cup, alternating three times, with the intention for eating, and recite the blessing for handwashing and dry their hands. Immediately afterward, recite Asher Yatzar, and then recite the blessing of Hamotzi.

If one is not concerned about forgetting to recite the Asher Yatzar blessing, they should eat a kezayit (olive-sized portion) of bread after Hamotzi, and then recite Asher Yatzar [Yalkut Yosef Siman 165].
