#VALUE!
Until when can one recite a blessing after eating and being satisfied?
If one ate and was satisfied, one may recite the blessing as long as one does not begin to feel hungry again. If one ate and was satisfied but is unsure whether one is beginning to feel hungry, it is better to eat another kazayit (olive-sized portion). If it is not possible to eat another kazayit, one should recite Birkat Hamazon [Yalkut Yosef 184].
Until when can one recite a blessing if one ate less than the amount that causes satiety?
If one ate a small amount and was not satisfied, one should immediately recite the final blessing. If one immediately wishes to eat again as at the beginning, one should eat another kazayit to avoid doubt. If one cannot eat another kazayit, even if it is within 72 minutes, one should not recite Birkat Hamazon. Nevertheless, if only a short time has passed and the food has presumably not yet been digested, one should recite the blessing.
