Until when is the time for Kiddush and morning meal on a holiday?

The time for the morning meal on Shabbat and holidays is until about half an hour after midday. Therefore, many have the custom to make Kiddush after the Musaf prayer and have a meal, and only afterward conduct the Hakafot (as ruled in Kaf HaChaim section 274, paragraph 19).

Since Kiddush must be accompanied by a meal, the congregation should eat at least an olive-sized portion of cake or a quarter-log of wine after Kiddush, and not rely merely on drinks or fruits.
