Are children required to fast?

A child under the age of nine is not required to fast at all on Yom Kippur, and we should prevent them from doing so and feed them. From age nine, they should fast for several hours.

For a boy who is twelve years old and a girl who is eleven years old, it is proper that they fast until midday [Chazon Ovadia p. 340].

Are sick people and children who eat on Yom Kippur required to make Kiddush?

A sick person or child should not make Kiddush since the obligation of Kiddush over wine only applies when it is a time of eating for everyone [Chazon Ovadia p. 307].
