#VALUE!
How should one behave on the eve of Rosh Hashanah?
The day before Rosh Hashanah is the final day of the year, and our Sages taught that whoever repents for even one day during the year is considered as if he repented throughout the entire year.
Therefore, on the last day of the year we say many prayers and give abundantly to charity. Everyone should resolve to repent wholeheartedly, especially for sins between man and his fellow, and not wait until the last day before Yom Kippur to ask forgiveness from others, but rather be proactive in fulfilling this mitzvah.
Indeed, the entire day should be devoted to Torah study and mitzvot. It is appropriate for everyone to immerse in a mikveh, and one should keep repentance in mind throughout the day. Through this, may we merit to greet our righteous Mashiach speedily in our days, Amen.
