Is it permissible for a person to touch their sisters?
It is forbidden for a person to kiss or hug their older sister, father's sister, or mother's sister. Therefore, one must be careful when meeting at family events to behave according to the boundaries of modesty [Yalkut Yosef Even Ha'ezer Chapter 21].
When men and women gather for a Torah lesson, is separation required?
It is not permissible to conduct a mixed class for men and women, and if there is no partition, it is permitted to set up such a partition even on Shabbat.
