How the Wheel Turns

A mouse peeked through his hole in the wall and saw that the farmer of the house had brought a mouse trap... Horrified, he went to his companions in the yard for help.

He approached the rooster and told him about the trap. The rooster replied, "It's not my concern... You'll have to manage on your own."

The mouse continued to the sheep, who said, "There's nothing I can do, Mr. Mouse, perhaps all I can try is to pray."

He then went to the cow, who laughed and said, "It's just a mouse trap... what's it to me?"

Sad and worried, the mouse returned to his hole. He could see his doom approaching, the trap was ready to spring...

That night, a loud noise was heard. It turned out a venomous snake was caught in the trap. The farmer's wife tried to free it, and the snake bit her. She immediately fell ill, and what's better for the sick than chicken soup?... The farmer went and slaughtered the rooster.

Many friends came to visit the woman, and... it's awkward, what could he feed them? He slaughtered the sheep... After about a month, the woman recovered, and the farmer held a gratitude feast. For this, he went and slaughtered the --- cow...

If you hear that a friend is in trouble, do not say "It's not my concern..." How do you know the trouble won't come to you, too? When someone asks for your help, don't turn your back. Show them that even when it doesn't concern you, you're willing to help, or at least try. As you treat others, so will you be treated: help your friend, and help will come from the heavens!

The Creator Loves You

A college lecturer held a 200 ₪ bill and asked his students: "Who wants this bill?" All hands were raised... The lecturer began to crumple the bill in front of them until it became a small ball, and again asked: "Who still wants the bill?" Despite its poor condition, all hands were raised again.

Then he dropped the bill on the floor, stepped on it with his shoe and crushed it. "Now, who still wants the bill?" he asked, lifting the dirty and very crumpled bill. Clearly, all hands went up into the air...

Then the lecturer said to them: "You saw that despite everything I did to the bill, you all still wanted it. It didn't matter what it looked like; its value was still 200 ₪ in your eyes..."

Remember, many times we fall, stumble, and sink into pits we've created for ourselves. Sometimes the falls are very deep: we've done bad things, disappointed ourselves and our friends, and we feel worthless, wondering how we can look up. How can we gaze at the heavens?...

But know that each of us is exactly like this bill in the eyes of the Creator. Our value in His eyes never decreases!

Even if you've fallen and disappointed, sunk and descended to the lowest places, you are "dirty" and completely "crumpled" - know that you will always remain the Creator's child. You can always lift your head to the heavens and know the Creator is waiting for you; you are always unique in His eyes!

The Black Dot

A professor prepared a surprise test for his students. He placed the test papers face down on the desks like any other test, and when he finished distributing them, he asked his students to turn the page.

Everyone turned the page and was stunned to discover just a single black dot on the page: ●

They looked at the professor, not understanding what it meant!

The professor asked them all to write what they saw. Every student, without exception, wrote that they saw a black dot on the page.

The professor finished reading the answers and said: "Interesting that none of you wrote that you see a white page! You all saw only a black circle! I'm not intending to preach, but take this as a point to ponder: none of you wrote about the white page, only the black circle."...

Friends, we have so many beautiful and good things in life - family, health, love, friends around us, a livelihood - but we always find ourselves focusing on the black dot: "how bad the financial situation is"... "problems with my wife"...

"The black dot" is only a small part compared to "the white page" we have in life. Open your eyes! Don’t focus on the black dot. Enjoy every moment you are blessed with in life. Be joyful and live lives full of love!

In Daddy's Hands

A businessman was surprised to see a little eight-year-old girl sitting beside him on a plane without a companion. He was impressed by her mature and calm demeanor throughout the long hours of the flight, and how she entertained herself with drawing and coloring for her enjoyment.

Suddenly, the plane encountered "air turbulence," and the captain announced they had to sit down and fasten their seatbelts. For more than half an hour, the air turbulence continued, with the plane "falling" and shaking. People screamed and cried, some prayed, and even the businessman sat shaking in fear, holding the armrests and praying for the ordeal to end.

And the little girl? To his surprise, he found she was still sitting quietly in her seat! She placed the coloring book in the seat pocket, sat comfortably, and did not look worried.

When everything calmed down, he turned to his young neighbor and praised her: "You're a heroine! How could you maintain calm and tranquility? Especially since you're alone here!" The girl shyly smiled and replied, "The pilot is my dad. He's the best pilot in the world, and he's taking me home."...

When a child knows he's in his dad's hands, he feels safe. When a Jew remembers who carries him on his hands, is there still any place for worry?

Everything Is for the Best

In a small and remote village in China lived an old Chinese farmer with a young son and a single horse. The farmer's life was quiet and peaceful until one day the horse ran away from the stable and disappeared.

The villagers came and expressed their condolences to the farmer for the loss of his horse, as they knew it was all his property, understanding how difficult this bad event must be for him. The farmer asked them: "How can you know if this event is bad or good?"

The next day, the horse returned, and with it came a whole herd of beautiful wild horses, and the farmer was filled with great joy! The villagers came and said to the farmer: "What a beauty! Sell the horses and become rich, you've been given a good gift from the heavens..." The farmer replied: "How can you know if this event is bad or good?"

A few days later, when the farmer's son tried to tame one of the wild horses, the horse kicked him, and the son fell and broke his leg. The villagers came to him and said: "Oh, your poor son! What an unfortunate event!" The farmer replied: "How can you know if this event is bad or good?"

A few days later, war broke out. The army came and forcibly recruited all the village's young men into the military. The war was hard and claimed many lives from the village. The farmer's son wasn't taken, of course, due to his broken and plastered leg...

Trials come upon us every day, some we immediately recognize as the machinations of the evil inclination, and we strive to fight them, yet others we struggle to face. Sometimes we feel we don't have the strength to withstand the difficulty, but we don't understand that it is a personal trial designed exactly for us!

Our eyes are small, narrow, and view things for the short term, for the moment or hour of the trial, and we don't always manage to understand: why has this befallen me? Or how will I cope? But the eyes of the Creator see eternity! He knows exactly what you need to reach your fulfillment! Therefore, the trials are tailored precisely to your strength of perseverance for today. Withstanding these trials will uplift and strengthen you, even if you think the trial was sent to you 'for your detriment' or you're unable to overcome it!
