Questions Science Can’t Answer – 5 Points to Ponder

Why does only the unique composition of blood enable life? Every minor movement begins with a desire - what is that desire, and whose is it? Do all Israelis have a share in the World to Come, and is there truth in the doctrines of Christianity and Islam?

Just Asking

If the sun were to move away from us, we would freeze. If the sun were to come closer, we would burn from the heat.

So, who placed the sun in its precise position?

The Earth rotates on its axis at a speed of 1,700 km per hour. This speed gives the day its length: 24 hours, comprising 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night.

What then is the enormous engine that spins the Earth at this tremendous and constant speed?

If one component were missing from mother's milk, the nourishing milk would become lethal for the baby.

So, who is the chemist that concocted the perfect mother's milk essential for the baby's growth?

Even top doctors have not yet managed to create even one heart that serves as an adequate replacement for the human heart, despite all the equipment they possess. Human hands played no part in creating the heart and contributed nothing to it!

So, who is the designer who crafted the heart so ingeniously and placed it in a precise and fixed location in the body, and also provided a wonderful pump that circulates the blood throughout the body with exactness and power needed for our function?

We can continue with such questions, but the conclusion is clear: creation testifies to its creator. Design testifies to a designer. Lawfulness testifies to a legislator...

So, who is the creator, the designer, and the legislator?

The Blood is the Life

In our body, there's a unique fluid that "activates" all our organs. This fluid particularly, not any other, creates "vitality" in the organs. Any other fluid we inject into our body would cause it to collapse. What is this unique fluid? It is blood.

Blood has many functions: it carries oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and other necessary substances to all body tissues, removes carbon dioxide and other waste materials from the tissues to the organs that excrete them from the body, and more.

Examining the chemical composition of the blood, blood pressure, and other properties provides doctors with substantial information about the overall state of the body.

It is a unique resource that humans cannot produce, nor can they produce a suitable substitute for it! So,from where did this fluid originate? Who is "responsible" for the production of blood, which is so essential for our body's function? Why does only the unique composition of blood enable life?

There is no doubt; man was created with such wonderful wisdom and intelligence, with incredibly coordinated and integrated systems, each organ in its appropriate place, each substance in accurate dosage, each action at the right timing...

Whose Desire Is It?

Suppose someone wants to move their finger. It seems simple, right? But physiologically, consider what the finger movement process involves:

The motor center in the brain sends an electrical signal with a strength of fifty millivolts. The signal travels along the radial nerve at a speed of about a hundred meters per second. The radial nerve exits from the nape, descends to the fifth vertebra of the spine, and from there splits into the right and left arms.

If we continue to track its path, we will find that it continues along the arm and hand, branching off into five nerves in the palm, each leading to a different finger. When the electrical signal reaches the correct finger, it triggers a stimulus that causes the finger muscles to expand or contract as needed, causing the finger to move.

The whole process, as described, is based on processes that can be described using well-known physical and electrical laws. However, at the start of the process lies an unknown factor belonging to a completely different field. The "trigger" that initiated all the physiological processes described above was - desire.

Can a psychological phenomenon - like human desire - be explained solely by physical processes? Clearly not! So, who controls this? Who is the "spiritual entity" that decides to raise or lower the finger, move it right or left? Who is it?

All of Israel Has a Share in the World to Come...

I have a friend who does not observe Torah and commandments. I reproached him for continuing to deny the Torah and the Creator of the World, and that if he does not realize that he is wrong, unfortunately, he will lose his World to Come. But he surprised me with his response and said to me, with a smug smile: "No worries, 'All of Israel has a share in the World to Come,' it's written in your Torah, right? So I am Israel, and I have a share in the World to Come"...

"I understand that this reassures you, that you supposedly have "approval" ensuring you a World to Come just by being Jewish, but you are mistaken!"

My friend looked at me in surprise.

"This phrase is the beginning of the Mishna in Sanhedrin 10, 9. But do you know there is a continuation to this phrase? 'And these are the ones who do not have a part in the World to Come: one who says there is no resurrection of the dead sourced in the Torah, the Torah is not from Heaven, and an Epicurean'..."

"You rely on a phrase, which seemingly grants you legitimacy to continue your way, and it's a shame because you misunderstand the Mishna. The words of the sages require learning and understanding, and one cannot extract a sentence that appears to serve them, without understanding their words in depth."

"Indeed, all of Israel has a share in the World to Come. We all have a "reserved area" in the World to Come, but Jews, who by their actions spoil, lose their right to the "area" in the World to Come. And you, if you continue with your actions, you will lose your portion in the World to Come!"

Unfortunately, a lack of knowledge and understanding might lead people to continue in their bad deeds. Sometimes there are those who misuse the Torah, confident that it approves them to continue in their arrogant way, but they are wrong.

Forgery!

Here are some interesting details about the two major religions in the world - Christianity and Islam:

1. Christianity and Islam acknowledge that the Torah of Israel is true but claim that Hashem replaced the Jewish people with them.

But I ask: in that same Torah they believe (evidence being that Christians call the Bible the 'Old Testament'), Hashem promises Israel that He will never replace them, as it says: "Yet even so, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them, for I am Hashem their G-d" (Leviticus 26:44).

Could it be that Hashem "got confused" and forgot His promise? Is it logical to say that Hashem promises and suddenly retracts, after all, G-d does not make mistakes!

2. Christianity and Islam admit that their scriptures were not dictated word for word by Hashem. They admit that Jesus and Muhammad never wrote their scriptures! Their scriptures were only written after the deaths of their false prophets by their disciples.

If so, how do they consider it a divine document?

3. They admit that their scriptures were altered time and again into hundreds and thousands of different versions!

How can one believe in a religion that has tens of thousands of versions of its religious book? In contrast, the Torah of Israel has one and only version that has been preserved for about 3,300 years, despite being a persecuted and scattered minority worldwide!

4. Unlike Christianity and Islam, Judaism is the only religion with a variety of practical spiritual commandments connecting man to G-d such as tefillin, tzitzit, the four species, and more. In contrast, in Christianity, there are no commandments; believe with your heart and you have earned the World to Come. In the Quran, there are five "commandments" which are not considered practical mitzvahs but "spiritual": the Shahada - faith in one G-d and Muhammad as His messenger, prayer, charity, Ramadan fasting, and pilgrimage to Mecca - the Hajj.

If their scriptures were given by "G-d," how is it possible they don't have one single practical spiritual commandment? Is it logical to say that suddenly "G-d" regretted and abolished all 613 commandments that Israel is obligated to keep? What's the logic behind it?

Do the "Quran" or "New Testament" sound like books delivered from "G-d," as they claim? These are two false religions reliant on a forged document written by humans! In contrast, the Torah of Israel was given directly by Hashem, written down from His mouth by Moses, and given to Israel in the presence of all the nation!
