So if your nostrils are already red from blowing your nose, you've tried all possible methods, and your nose keeps dripping nonstop - this is your immune system's way of defending against thousands of foreign invaders trying to infect you.

The main function of the nose is to filter the air we breathe, warm it, and humidify it. It is equipped with hairs that capture small particles that stick to the mucous membrane, and by nasal cilia motion, they are moved backward to the throat, swallowed or expelled.

The mucus is essentially the nasal discharge. It's a gel containing about 95% water, along with proteins linked to sugars. This mucus can be allergy-induced, usually transparent, containing components of the immune system alongside tiny allergy-causing particles and others, or it can be bacterial or viral mucus, where tiny particles, bacteria, and viruses enter with the air.

The purpose of nasal discharge, as mentioned, is to capture and discharge foreign invaders - allergens, bacteria, and often viruses - out of the body. The nose is directly connected to the nasal cavity, and swallowing the mucus is a normal and natural process designed to pass the mucus to the acidic stomach to destroy foreign invaders.

Each type of mucus has a different color, shape, and texture: clear mucus is a regular and healthy discharge from the nasal cavity, potentially caused by a cold, allergy, etc.; white mucus is a "normal" mucus in the early stages of flu, upper respiratory tract infections or various winter colds; yellow-green mucus indicates inflammation; pink-red mucus shows bleeding from the nasal cavity.

Friends, it's clear we're tired of a runny nose all winter, but this is the body's way of protecting us from the bacteria and viruses threatening to invade and cause chaos!

Is it possible that this amazing process, indicating a guiding and caring hand, came into being on its own, without a creator and planner?

Egg

It turns out the egg is more complex than imagined. It's like an external womb, protecting the living creature inside. It's a mechanism where several factors must operate simultaneously for the process to occur. Let me explain:

The eggshell is a powerful structure: First, the shell must have the appropriate thickness: if it's too soft, it will break when the chicken attempts to brood over it. If it's too hard, the chick will not be able to hatch.

Moreover, the eggshell must prevent the evaporation of fluids within the egg, exposed to the air. Just as a baby cannot live without fluids in the mother’s womb, so the hatchling or chick cannot develop without sufficient fluids to move within.

Doesn't the chick need to eat? Everyone knows there is a yolk in the egg, but not everyone knows that this yolk nourishes the cell from which the chick will develop. A baby in the mother’s womb is nourished through the umbilical cord directly from the mother. But how will an entity outside its mother be nourished? The yolk is sustenance for the journey. The egg contains a precise food reserve for the entire period during which the chick needs to stay until it's big and strong enough to hatch.

How does the mother know to brood over the egg? This is an instinct known in the nature of animals laying eggs, knowing exactly how to care for them. The hen knows it has to brood over the egg, and reptiles know they have to cover the egg with soil. If living creatures don’t take care of their eggs, their offspring won’t live.

Where exactly do the egg layers know that digging a pit, laying the eggs in it, and covering the eggs with soil will really help preserve the future offspring coming out of the eggs? Where do they even know what eggs are? Maybe it’s just waste like the feces they excrete? How do they know that from a lifeless egg, from a silent shell, something resembling them is set to emerge?

What about the warmth needed for the egg? What about the egg needing the warmth of brooding? The hen might brood on a side of the egg that doesn't warm it entirely, and thus the cell inside cannot develop when it doesn’t get all the warmth it requires.

Many of you have probably noticed a small white spot in the egg's yolk. The sharp-eyed among you will have surely noted that when frying a sunny-side-up egg, the white spot always floats to the top, over the "ball" of yolk. It has great significance! That spot contains the "germ plasm." When the shell is whole, it doesn’t matter which side you tilt the egg; the yolk inside always spins with the germ plasm tilted upwards! Meaning the sprout from which the chick will develop will always remain on top. So the chick always receives most of the warmth from the brooding above it.

Wait, the chick wants to hatch. But how will it get out of the hard egg? Here, the ingenious design equips it with a can opener... meaning a special nail designed to break the shell from within! The first egg must have included this mentioned nail, or the one inside wouldn’t have come out, and the whole species would be extinct! By the way, aquatic creatures laying eggs use special chemicals to dissolve the shell and come out!

This is a genius architectural design! Only a supreme intelligent being, with unlimited ability, could be the creator of something so sophisticated...

What Am I Doing in This World?

We have a rule in life: every creation, like a laptop, refrigerator, or table, or anything ever created, must have a creator.

To claim that this amazing creation - with billions of stars and galaxies, oxygen, water, humans, animals, trees, and flowers - was made by a random explosion, everything started expanding from nowhere, evolving through evolution, one thing leading to another, is a silly claim!

Every normal person knows if there’s a chair, there must be a carpenter! I may not know the carpenter, but I can assure you he created it. If there’s a laptop, there must be an engineer who made it, even if I don’t know him. If I fly to space and see a Coke can there, I’ll know someone was there before. It didn’t arrive there by itself...

The more sophisticated the creation, the more it indicates a smarter creator. To build a chair, you don’t need to be a genius. One day of learning, and you know how to create a chair. To create a fighter jet, you need to learn for 20 years, not just one day. Why? It's a more complex creation. The more sophisticated the creation, the more capabilities the creator has.

If we take all existing connections in all phone companies worldwide, including all satellites, it’s not even a percentage of the amazing connections existing in the human brain. The human brain is more sophisticated than all the communication companies in the world. Take one person's brain multiplied by 7 billion people of this generation, go back thousands of generations, multiply by millions of animal species, all with brains, and realize everything is planned and organized. Is it possible to say everything created itself, and there’s no one watching over it all?! It's unrealistic...

Have you ever seen any creation - throughout history, anywhere in the world - without a purpose?

The most sophisticated creation in the world is the human being. From a simple observation of the body structure - the brain, heart, arteries and veins, and thousands upon thousands of different systems in the human body - it’s evident it’s a stunning creation, a mighty machine with tremendous abilities!

Does it make sense that the Creator created humans without a purpose, just like that, for no reason? It’s unrealistic; there must be a reason! This brings me to the next question: what’s the use of saying there’s a purpose to human life, without knowing what it is?

"What am I doing in this world? The Creator put me here, what does He want from me? Why did He give me 70 years of life, if in the end, I die?" Have you ever seen a normal person who isn’t troubled by this question?

Is it possible that the Creator, who is so sophisticated, places us here in this world with a purpose, yet never bothered to tell us what that purpose is? If no one knows the purpose and what to do in this world, then what are we living for? Why die, live, be sick, be rich, be poor, get married, have children, suffer, are we living for all this?

Is it reasonable that there’s a goal and purpose without any instructions on how to live in this world?

Turtle

A simple observation at a turtle, moving slowly across open natural areas, sparks admiration.

The common terrestrial turtle (Testudo graeca), the most common and familiar among Israeli turtles, has unique physical features: its shell is curved and thick, its legs cumbersome and column-like, its digits fused, and its claws dull and short. The turtle hatches from the egg with a bony shell solid on all sides, except for six openings intended for the head, legs, and excretion.

The turtle’s shell, one of the oddest defensive covers in nature, why is it needed?

The shell protects turtles from predators. When turtles sense danger, they retract into their shells and hide until the predator or threat moves away. Thanks to the shell, turtles have long lifespans, but due to its significant weight, their movement is exceedingly slow.

What happens if a turtle’s shell breaks? The turtle can't survive without its shell, which is like the backbone to humans. Even when the shell isn’t completely shattered but merely cracked, dirt enters inside and causes significant infection.

An interesting question: how is the next generation established in armor-clad turtles? The male is distinguished by its tail, longer than that of the female, and by the inverted shell of its chest - compared to the curved chest shell of the female. These differences allow for the reproductive process in turtles.

I ask: who "built" and "clothed" the turtle’s body with a shell with openings precisely fitting the structure of its skeleton and its needs? How was the match between male and female anatomy to their shell structure perfectly designed, allowing the existence of the next generation? Isn’t this enough to understand that everything was created by one planner?

"By the Testimony of Two Witnesses... a Matter is Established"

There is no religion besides Judaism where Hashem revealed Himself to an entire nation.

I wonder: how can it be that throughout history, there isn’t even one religion claiming that Hashem revealed Himself in front of a hundred or even fifty people, also not to ten, nor even to two people! If Hashem decides to reveal Himself, what prevents Him from revealing to more than one person?!

Beyond the fact that the two largest religions in the world - Christianity and Islam (established long after Judaism!) - acknowledge the Sinai revelation as a historical event, where the Torah was given to Israel in front of about three million people, both religions themselves report that their "messenger" received a revelation alone, without any additional witnesses.

My question is this: Hashem revealed to all Israel because He wanted Israel to personally hear His words directly and believe in Him. So why, according to their view, would "Hashem" decide suddenly to reveal secretively to only one person - without witnesses, what's the gain? Why not reveal anew in front of all the people and announce changes to His plans in front of them all?

The wonder deepens considering it's a divine commitment that no such event would ever recur.

"For ask now of the days past, which were before you, since the day that Hashem created man upon the earth, and from the end of heaven to the other end of heaven, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it... (Deuteronomy 4:32-39):

Let us explain:

Hashem speaks with Moses and commits: in the future, anyone - from the dawn of mankind to today, anywhere in the entire world - wanting to verify if any religion claims its law book was given by Hashem in front of a whole nation, as Hashem did in front of Israel - will find not even a single case! Not only that such an event hasn't occurred, but no one would even dare claim this, nor would you hear about such a thing!

It goes without saying that to date, despite the thousands of religions that developed, including the two largest religions in the world, Islam and Christianity, there hasn't been one that claims Hashem revealed Himself to a hundred people, or two people!... not even one thought to bring even bribed witnesses to support their story, to make it easier to convince....

Who committed to such an illogical and paradoxical prophecy?! And who can maintain and uphold such a promise? Only the Creator of the world and the ruler of history can do this! In our hands is another decisive proof of "Torah from Heaven"!
