The Proven Blessing: Shabbat

Many people seek blessings for livelihood. There is a very special blessing, a blessing passed down from generation to generation.

Every six days it returns to us anew, Shabbat.

Observing Shabbat is the blessing for prosperity, as it is said "it is the source of blessing."

Shabbat is a taste of the World to Come. Want a taste of paradise? Strengthen your observance of Shabbat.

A sparkling clean home, Shabbat candles glowing with pure light, a white and pristine tablecloth,

fine wine all ready for Kiddush, feasts fit for royalty, prepared ahead of time,

and for you, what remains is just to delight, rejoice, sing, and rest—all is ready for you in advance...

What a wonderful gift, given only to us, as a sign between me and you, that you, the people of Israel, believe in Me, the Creator of the world, who created the entire world in six days, and rested on the seventh.

Thus, I want to give you the same good feeling, an uplifting and spiritual feeling

that only someone who observes Shabbat properly can feel.

And if you are still not fully observing Shabbat, at the very least start step by step; every small effort is valued, but it is worthwhile to aspire and progress to feel and uphold it.
