If someone mistakenly makes a blessing over food on a fast day, should they taste it?

One who mistakenly recites a blessing over food on a fast day should taste a small amount to fulfill the blessing and then continue fasting as usual. However, if one made a blessing over food on Yom Kippur - they should not taste it [Yalkut Yosef Siman 550].

May a Sephardi who is invited to read the Haftarah during Mincha of a fast day according to Ashkenazi custom go up and recite the blessing?

A Sephardi who prays with Ashkenazim during Mincha of a fast day and is invited for the third aliyah is permitted to read the Haftarah with its blessings [Yalkut Yosef Siman 550].
