How to Find Peace Through Faith: Turning Life’s Challenges into Divine Applause

There’s an old story about two flies who met one day. One said to the other, "Every time I enter a house, people immediately try to kill me!" The other replied, "Really? That’s strange. Every house I go into, everyone claps for me!"

Same action. Same danger. Completely different perspective.

Of course, in reality, the first fly is right. People are definitely not clapping- they’re trying to kill him.

When it comes to our personal lives, however, it’s the opposite. When you go through challenges and face difficult, even terrifying circumstances, you're expected to believe with complete faith that G-d placed you there for a reason. He knows your capabilities, your needs, and your soul. You are to look at those trials as applause.

Whether or not people like you, if their intentions are pure, or if they have the power to help or hurt you- G-d is with you. When you are aligned with Him, your life is already positioned where it matters most.

The One above is the One who directs your life, every step, every twist, and even the "applause" you receive, day by day and hour by hour.

Reframing Life’s Challenges

In our everyday lives, we are called to approach everything around us with love, patience, and to reinterpret it as applause. Look at the noise, the chaos, the criticism, and ask yourself: What’s good about this? What is G-d trying to highlight in me right now?

The more you focus on the inner strength and the pure and holy force that is with you, you begin to experience the energy flowing from G-d Himself that sustains you every day. He's saying: "Trust Me. Every detail around you is something I shaped for you."

As it says, “Ein tzur k’Elokeinu”- “There is no rock like our G-d,” and as the sages teach, this also means: “There is no artist like our G-d.” The Baal Shem Tov explained: There is no painter like G-d, who designs your life in 3D- every scene, every background, every twist is painted for your soul.

That is where real peace is found, and where true success begins.
