Is it permissible to publish a newsletter containing Torah content alongside commercial advertisements?

Ideally, no commercial advertisements should be published in a Shabbat newsletter. If the newsletter provides public benefit and cannot be published without sponsorship advertisements, the advertisements should be printed on the back of the newsletter on a separate page. They should clearly indicate that these advertisements should not be read on Shabbat [Responsa of the Rishon LeZion, Vol. 2, p. 149].

Is it permissible to read labels or ingredients written on products?

Those who read the text on food packaging, labels on beverage bottles, and similar items on Shabbat are not violating the prohibition of reading ordinary documents. [Yalkut Yosef, Shabbat Vol. 2, p. 198].
