Is it permissible to apply perfume on one's body or clothes?
It is permissible to apply perfume on the body and hair, but it is not permitted to apply perfume on one's clothes because of "molid reicha" (creating a new scent) [Yechaveh Da'at 1, 31, Yalkut Yosef Siman 327].
Is it permissible to braid hair?
It is forbidden for a woman to braid her hair on Shabbat, as this activity resembles building (boneh), and likewise it is not permitted to undo a braid [Shulchan Aruch 303, 26].
