"A Shiver Ran Down My Spine. I Came to Disprove It, and Ultimately Proved It True"

One of the fascinating phenomena is the existence of codes encoded throughout the Torah. There are many forms of encoding known to the sages of Israel since the giving of the Torah, but modern scientists are familiar with only one form called "letter skipping."
The encoded codes touch upon every field and detail in creation, from the dawn of history until the end of days, with expressions of related information shown in proximity or intersection, such as events and their details, individuals with encrypted expressions of their life events, birth and death dates, laws from the oral Torah, the plant world, and more.

Physicist Doron Witztum and mathematician Professor Eliyahu Rips from the Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University conducted scientific research on the Bible code, which gained widespread attention in the scientific world and media.

One of the unique phenomena of the Torah in terms of encoded codes is the proximity of expressions related to each other. In the biblical code research, a list of 34 pairs of related expressions was prepared: the person's name and date of birth or death, and they checked for adjacent encounters. Dr. Moshe Katz writes in his book "The Torah Was Given in Its Letters" about the code research: "All 34 pairs of expressions from the list were checked. The numerical value of each encounter was calculated. The findings showed that the probability of such encounters occurring by chance is in the order of 1 in 10^17-!". In other words, a very low probability. The proximity in which encoded expressions related to each other were found is a phenomenon with a negligible probability.

Dr. Moshe Katz also writes that comparative tests were conducted to try to find encoded proximities of related expressions in other long texts, such as a book comparable in length to the Torah, or in the Torah text when the letter order was randomly changed by computer, and it was found that the phenomenon of proximity of related expressions in the "letter skipping" encoding does not occur at all in other texts.

The discovery received significant attention among researchers worldwide as the research expanded. Harold Gans, a senior code breaker at the Pentagon, received the findings to try to refute them, stating, "A shiver ran down my spine. I came to disprove the code, and ultimately I proved it."

American journalist Michael Drosnin, author of the book 'The Bible Code', in 1994 discovered a code warning of Rabin's assassination and sent a warning letter to his office, but the office ignored the warning. In his letter, Drosnin tells the Prime Minister of Israel about the discovery of a hidden code in the Torah by an Israeli mathematician, a code which reveals details of events that occurred thousands of years after they were written. "I am telling you this," he writes, "because this is the only time your full name - Yitzhak Rabin - is encoded in the Bible, and the words 'assassin who will assassinate' intersect with your name."

In his book, Drosnin writes, "When I heard that Rabin was assassinated, I was shocked. Not because of the murder, but because I realized the code was true."

Robert J. Aumann, a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA, examined the studies conducted on the Bible code and noted: "Statistically, it is far beyond what is usually required. The strictest criteria ever applied are between 1 in 1,000. Professor Rips' results are significant at a level of at least 1 in 100,000. You simply do not see such results in ordinary scientific experiments. The Bible code is simply a fact."

It remains only to agree that there is a supreme power that foresaw and knew all the future and the occurrence of creation, encrypting it in non-human forms within the verses of the Torah.
