What is the explanation according to the Torah regarding a person who feels a chill in their body, why does it happen? Does it affect the soul?

Hello and blessings,
Goosebumps, also known as "goose flesh," are a phenomenon of skin tremors along with hair standing on end. This occurs due to a muscle system and is designed to prompt the body to action.
In humans, goosebumps can be caused by an emotional experience, similar to tears.
Goosebumps do not affect the soul, rather the opposite. It is the soul that influences the body and causes the sensation of goosebumps.
It is said in the Torah that Hashem breathed a "living soul" into the human body. The soul within us is what activates the body, akin to a driver in a car. When you choose to be moved by something due to the spiritual connection to what it represents, your soul causes your body to feel chills, just as sadness can cause you to shed tears. The soul activates the body's mechanisms and expresses itself through these muscles, which cause goosebumps.
In the book of Job (chapter 19) it says, "From my flesh, I shall see God." Through contemplating our body, we can see our spiritual connection to Hashem.
Blessings,
Daniel Belles
