Can Millions of Years Create an Intelligent World?

Proof that there is Hashem and He created the world is found in the fact that the world is so intelligent and complex that it could not have created itself. How do we refute the opposing claim that the world is so advanced and intelligent because it took millions of years for the world to reach its current state? All the wisdom and complexity in the world developed independently over millions of years, as it refined itself, starting from a very basic form, gradually becoming intelligent, correcting itself to encompass everything we see today. Every development, change, or event that exists in the universe was predetermined according to the laws of nature created in the universe from its inception.

If the universe were random, it would not distinguish between chance and design, resulting in chaos without order and logic. Just as if you threw ink on the floor, the ink would never know to "organize" itself into words and sentences because nothing tells it to differentiate between order and randomness.

What is our universe like? A computer running pre-prepared software, where we see stages and presentations, all predetermined by the codes written "behind the scenes" of the software.

Thus, the entire universe operates and moves according to the laws of nature set from its appearance.

When matter always behaves the same way, it appears lawful. In effect, that matter is controlled by another force compelling it to behave consistently. In our universe, we observe order, not randomness. There are laws like gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces within atoms, among others. The laws of nature are a concrete definition because the entire nature behaves in a particular manner. There is order in the universe, proving that a force governs it to behave in a specific way, not another. From these laws, we learn that the Creator's control applies to the entire universe, and He is present everywhere and at all times in the universe. The order also teaches us that the controller of the universe is not material, as He controls matter and is therefore not matter Himself. This is further proof of Hashem's dominion over the universe.

Without the universe's laws, everything would vanish. Coordinated forces maintain atoms; without them, particles would disperse, leaving the universe empty. Electrical forces connect molecules and atoms; without them, no material would exist in the universe. There is also the force of gravity creating interactions among different materials (like the sun, the world, and the moon); without it, structures would scatter in the universe without alignment or ability to support life. In fact, the force governing the universe is also the one sustaining it. Without it, the universe would collapse into a wasteland of darkness and emptiness. This teaches us that the universe's controller is also its creator, as by His power, He maintains the entire universe. The universe's laws show us that the controller is also the creator since without His continuous power sustaining the universe, it would dissolve into utter chaos. This is further proof of Hashem's existence governing the universe.
