Continues to struggle: A former employee of the joint brand with singer Kanye West and Adidas is suing the rapper for discrimination, harassment, and inappropriate conduct during his employment. The lawsuit filed in court alleges that the employee, Murphy Apekian, claims West made antisemitic statements and wore a shirt with such a message.
According to him, one of West's harsh expressions included statements against Jews. West has previously criticized Israel several times, thus continuing his controversial behavior. It was recently revealed that the rapper considered changing his name to a Nazi hate symbol. The extreme right-wing commentator, Nick Fuentes, disclosed this information in an interview with the Canadian right-wing video platform Rumble.
One of the claims in the new lawsuit concerns an event where West, after returning from a room, wore a t-shirt with a swastika, and asked Apekian: "Don't you like my shirt?" The employee, fearing for his professional future, replied it was a unique shirt.
This lawsuit adds to a series of claims against Kanye West for controversial behavior, further undermining his public standing. People familiar with the case reported that these developments might lead to more disclosures about his activities and business conduct.
West recently apologized following his statements. In a post on his personal Instagram account, he wrote a somewhat clumsy Hebrew text, asking for forgiveness from the Jewish people for the antisemitic remarks he made in recent years. Among other things, West praised the Nazi tyrant Adolf Hitler, may his name be erased. He claimed that "Jews control the world" and added several controversial statements, including racist remarks. Some commercial companies even severed ties with him following his statements. Now, he is back to making antisemitic remarks.
