Alon Levy, who was injured in the stabbing attack in the city of Hadera a few weeks ago, experienced an emotional moment when he received a pair of tefillin as a gift from the Chabad community. In the severe incident, the terrorist attempted to stab Levy in the neck, but he survived, and he is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
After the injury, Levy recounted that the terrorist thought he had killed him and therefore left him.
During a visit to Levy's home, Chabad representatives Rabbi Yochanan Butman and Rabbi Menachem Kutner presented him with the pair of tefillin as a gift. Levy expressed his excitement and gratitude warmly, saying: "This is the most special thing I've received in my life." Rabbi Kutner wished him health and success. The visit, which was part of the Chabad community's support project for terror victims, represents another step in their extensive activities for victims.
As a reminder, in the attack Raphael Mordechai Fishoff, of blessed memory, was murdered. Fishoff, 35, was a scholar at "Knesset Yitzhak" yeshiva. He left behind a wife and six children. He was the son of Rabbi Tzvi Shraga Fishoff, one of the heads of the "Beit Matityahu" yeshiva and a head of the "Knesset Shmuel" yeshiva in Beitar Illit.
