Miracle in Netzarim: Soldiers Fetch Tefillin and Discover Tunnel with Weapons

A miracle in the Netzarim corridor in the Gaza Strip: A soldier from the Tzahal 5 unit, who went on a mission in the Nusayrat area early in the morning, brought his *tallit* and *tefillin* in a bag with the intent to pray. During a pause in combat, the soldier opened the bag, took out the *tallit* and *tefillin*, prayed, and then placed them beside him.

Later, his team returned to activity and cleared the area. When the mission ended and the soldiers returned to their gathering point, the soldier realized he had forgotten his *tallit* and *tefillin* in the field.

The commander ordered a team to retrieve the *tallit* and *tefillin*. To their complete surprise, the soldiers discovered a concealed tunnel that had not been revealed before, located in the yard of one of the houses near where the *tefillin* were left.

Inside the tunnel, weapons and explosives already prepared for action by Hamas operatives were found. The team blew up the tunnel, but not before the soldier encouraged his comrades by saying that it is written that the commandment of *tzitzit* saves one from death.
