Singer Hanan Ben Ari lost his technical producer, Aviv Baram, in the massacre, and now faces another loss. Last night (Sunday), marking the anniversary of the massacre, Ben Ari shared with his followers the memory of Shaul Moial, his high school teacher, who fell in battle in southern Lebanon. In a heartfelt post, Ben Ari added a family picture of Moial and wrote in sorrow: "Left behind 10 orphans."
As mentioned, this is the second time Ben Ari has written on social media about a close person who has fallen. Baram was a 33-year-old resident of Kibbutz Kfar Azza, who was called to the emergency squad and was murdered by Hamas terrorists. Ben Ari wrote at the time: "Aviv, our technical producer, was killed in the battle for his home in the Gaza area. Just last Thursday we laughed together. We were excited for the trip to the USA. We wished each other a happy holiday. We just started getting to know each other. Four months of working together. Thank you, Aviv, for every moment with you. We all mourn with your family. You are our hero. We will overcome and avenge."
Not only Ben Ari knew Moial, who as mentioned was killed in Lebanon. Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also expressed his sorrow over Moial's death, who taught his youngest son at school. In a post on X, Bennett shared a video depicting teacher Shaul with his students, and wrote: "Rabbi Shaul, David's science teacher, fell in battle in Lebanon. This video is a reminder of his love for his students and his unique sense of humor. Laughing and crying together."
Bennett shared about the teacher's impact on his son David's life. "About a month ago, David returned from school and told us that in the middle of a science lesson, Rabbi Shaul received an immediate call-up order and had to leave," he wrote. "In hindsight, it was the last lesson he ever taught. The news hit his students like a bolt from the blue."
