"I introduce myself as Yosef, but my real name is not Yosef, and I ask not to reveal it in this article," Yosef opens our conversation with this puzzling request. "It's very likely that if you try to talk to me tomorrow at this same phone number, I won't answer, because I change numbers very frequently. In general, I would prefer this article not to be published, but the topic is so important and critical, so we are talking."
After this unconventional introduction, Yosef moves on to the important subject to which he dedicates his life: the fight against the missionaries. "I come from a completely different field," he clarifies, "but every day after my work hours, I devote long hours to making videos with content exposing the lies of the missionaries. I don't earn money from this, in fact, I only pay, but I believe this is the way to help Jews and prevent them from falling into this terrible abyss, to expose them to the truth so they won't be misled."
A Pack of Lies
It started almost by accident, a few years ago, when a friend approached Yosef and told him that he was invited to a conversation with a Jewish person who claimed to "believe in that man." Yosef was asked to help prove to that person the big mistake he was making. "That's how I joined him for a meeting with that person and was exposed through him to such bizarre and distorted opinions that it made me investigate the subject more and more."
The more Yosef delved into the subject, the more he heard about more and more cases of people who had fallen into the mission's trap, and as someone who is well-versed in video and digital content, he decided to create a YouTube channel called 'Mission Lies and Torah Truth,' where he publishes videos that operate from the opposite side. "To understand what it's about, I took several books and lectures from the mission, read and listened," he says, "My goal was to find contradictions in their statements and refute them one by one. Of course, I knew in advance it was a lie, but the more I delved into it, the more my shock grew, because it was simply pure fabrications and lies they tell without hesitation."
"For example, in their books, they quote various professors and researchers who supposedly speak in favor of Christianity, and when I tried to find out who these people are, I discovered that sometimes they don't exist at all, and in other cases, they quote people who never said those things, and I know this because I contacted those researchers myself, and they were shocked that the statements were quoted in their names."
"Another phenomenon present in missionary content is that they take verses from the Torah and claim they allude to that man. These are things a regular Jew would hear as a joke and not believe, but there are unfortunate Jews who fall into the trap, and we must help them. In addition to all this, I also translate videos of Rabbi Tovia Singer, who is a world expert on Christianity, and also provide access to his powerful content."

The Goal: To Save Jews
In the last month, Yosef took the project a step further and decided not only to refute the missionaries' claims but also to correct things they have corrupted in Judaism. "For example, the missionaries belittled the status of women, and I publish videos to strengthen their status," he explains, "and so it is in other areas. My aspiration is to correct everything they have ruined because I believe it is always possible to repair and spread the truth. This is the mission of my life, and every day when I finish my regular work, I rush to this work. I also wrote a book on the subject, aimed at refuting the lies to their core, revealing the truth, and instilling it in the heart."
Where do you find the strength to invest so much effort in this?
"I get the strength from the reactions that come to me," he responds honestly. "People contact me and tell me they almost fell into Christianity, and the materials I published were what helped them, some say they were already in contact with the Christian church, and thanks to the videos, they completely got out of it. It's moving to tears and gives a lot of strength to continue, even though the work is very Sisyphean and exhausting."
"Over time, I delved deeper into the topic and was blessed with si'ata d'shamaya that I currently have answers for every distortion and every claim. Thus, people come to me, and I immediately recognize the content they were exposed to and know how to refute them and arrange them in a new order. Usually, they quickly realize these are nonsense and vanities, because the evidence is clear-cut."

Yosef wishes to clarify that this is a spiritual struggle, not a physical one. "Recently, I hear about acts of violence against Christians in the Old City, where Jews go down and curse them, and it's really painful for me to hear about this. On this subject, it is important for me to emphasize that we are Judaism, not a mission. We have no intention of causing Jews to hate non-Jews, and certainly not to behave towards them violently. It is not acceptable at all."
As time passes, the channel grows, and while initially, it contained a few videos, today it already contains dozens of videos, some surpassing 100,000 views. "But I'm not the only one," Yosef emphasizes, "there is another channel called '1 God' that also does good work, and there are also other activists. I'm just one of many involved in the subject."
And he has an important note: "The best remedy against the mission is simply to learn the Torah properly, as Jews always do. If you know the Torah, there is no chance someone will come to you and claim there are hints in the Torah to that man. It's simply not possible."

And one cannot help but ask - why are you so afraid to be exposed?
"My activities are completely undercover. Because I know they know me and are very afraid of me, they even produced a video against me and really invested money in it. I want to help, and along with that, stay concealed, as our holy sages say 'blessing is only found in something hidden from the eye.'"
Do you engage so much with Christian content, aren't you afraid that something from it might affect you too?
"I am not afraid because I am close to the great rabbis of Israel, and there are several important rabbis I consult with along the way and ask each one in his field. I don't take any steps without spiritual guidance and supervision."
"This is also the place to note that as part of the activity, I see how much those who fall into the trap are usually people or teenagers dealing with personal difficulties and complications in their lives, leading them to read all the impurity of the mission. My aspiration is, of course, to help them, but also to provide a kind of vaccine to teenagers who have not yet reached there, they read and see our content, and understand in advance that there are deceivers in the world, and it is so important to beware of them."
