"I committed to eating only kosher," said Yuval Shemtov. "Every day when I wake up, I wash my hands, try to say the morning blessings, and lay tefillin. But my main prayers are in solitude with Hashem. I speak to Him in my own words. I feel that truly something has been happening lately. Good things are starting to happen to me. I'm connecting more with my true self."

Yuval Shemtov posted a photo on his Facebook page, adorned with tefillin, and wrote: "It's a pleasure to start the day with prayer:"

The post that gained 10,000 likes and dozens of supportive comments: "I started the morning connecting to the wonderful light of the Creator, with a strong desire to receive in order to give, to be a channel of blessings and goodness to everyone I can. In the name of Hashem, we will achieve and succeed, and say Amen," he wrote on his Facebook page, accompanied by the touching photo of him adorned with tefillin:

"One boundary I've decided to set for myself is not to schedule performances on Shabbat anymore," Shemtov declared publicly, "So one day a week, I'll rest and be with my family – so that on other days I can continue moving in the right direction."

"It feels good," Yuval told 'Yediot Aharonot'. "The day I decided to stop appearing on Shabbat, I received four checks I'd been waiting for months."

"I first decided not to work on Shabbat. A year ago, I made this decision not to work on Shabbat despite it being the main source of my income, and I see only financial growth," Yuval declares. "There's no loss from this. Anyone who works on Shabbat is like a rotten orange that spoils the rest of the basket. All the money I would earn on Shabbat would disappear," he told Radio 'Kol Berama'. "Hashem gave us Shabbat to rest. Together, the whole family. It's a joy. It has no price. Whatever price they offer me, I won't take it. I won't work on Shabbat."

Yuval Shemtov attends Torah lessons of Rabbi Yuval Hacohen Asherov, and Rabbi Yigal Cohen is also an inspiring figure for him. "I attend Rabbi Yuval Hacohen Asherov's lessons every Tuesday, and each time, I leave saying to myself: 'Wow'," Yuval said.

"I get inspiration almost daily from Rabbi Yigal Cohen. I attend his lectures and really enjoy listening to his talks, as he speaks at eye level. Thanks to him, I started being happy and content with what I have. Until I heard his talks, I might have succeeded a lot, but I still wasn't happy since I kept chasing one achievement after another. As they say – 'one who loves money will never be satisfied with money and one who loves fame will never be satisfied with fame'. But Rabbi Yigal taught me to be happy with my lot. I even had the privilege of hosting his Torah lesson in my home. I was very moved by this lesson."

Under the title "A Morning of Strengthening," Yuval Shemtov posted a picture on his Facebook page with Berry Sakharof, Miki Shtreit, Yishai Lapidot, and Rabbi Avraham Hacohen, as they are immersed in Torah study:

"I believe there are three axioms everyone should know – First, there is a Creator of the world, and He exists. Second, the Creator is omnipotent, and third – He loves us; He is our Father. Once you believe these axioms, one is not afraid of anything, for it is clear that 'whoever believes is not afraid'. It's not just a cliché but a key to everything. Even in very difficult moments, when unpleasant things happen, and it happens often in the industry I'm in, when I have faith, I know I'm protected. It's very simple."

"Thanks to Judaism, I've become a better husband and a better father, and my wife encourages it," says the beloved children's star. "The children see me laying tefillin and ask questions. I, of course, explain. In recent months I've truly seen miracles happening in my home, in life, and in my career," he added, "I just want to share with you this wonderful secret I've discovered called 'Shalom Bayit' – the true source of blessing and success."
