#VALUE!
While many patients in her condition might have given up on the big dream of getting married, succumbed to self-pity, or unfortunately canceled the wedding - Roni Cohen did not let the illness win, and on the eve of Yom Kippur, she married her partner despite not yet having a potential bone marrow donor.
On the Facebook page established for raising donations for her, the news was published that Roni Cohen and her partner Bar married in a modest and moving ceremony at Roni's parents' home in the village of Rinatya, on the eve of Yom Kippur.
As is known, a nationwide donation campaign was held for Roni following a post published by her partner, in which he called on the public to help find a potential donor. Their story touched thousands who came to donation stations, hoping to help Roni recover from her illness and live to see her wedding day healthy. "Your support, even after the donation day, continues to warm our hearts and gives us strength," was written on the donation page alongside a photo from the happy couple's wedding canopy.
