Bat-El Levy is a vibrant woman filled with joy, known to many girls, teenagers, and women. She herself returned to religious observance after years of searching, and from the moment she established a Jewish home and brought sweet children into the world, she hasn't stopped strengthening those around her and spreading light.

In the past year, Bat-El has noted receiving incredible divine assistance and witnessing an especially moving miracle.

Her story begins exactly a year ago, right after Passover, on the day of the global challah separation ceremony. Bat-El took it upon herself to organize a challah separation event and sought a suitable venue in her neighborhood in Ramla.

"After much searching, I managed to rent a large yard from a family; people donated chairs, tables, and refreshments for the event. We arrived at the challah separation ceremony, and it was very emotional, especially given how much effort I put into the preparations. When we started the ceremony, I told the women gathered there to see how worth it the investment was and how everything is supervised, and Hashem helped us bring this event to fruition. By chance, a woman passed by the street, and others urged her to come in. After the ceremony ended, she approached the microphone and told everyone that the house hosting the event belonged to her relatives, and this was the first time she talked to them after years of estrangement. Thanks to the challah separation, we were able to bring peace between them."

The Children Started to Hear and Speak

But the real surprise came towards the end of the ceremony. Bat-El shared with the women in the audience about her dream of holding the challah separation ceremony, and now, she has achieved it.

"Now I have another dream," she revealed to them, "a big dream, and I hope to fulfill it. I dream of opening a seminary in Ramla, where Torah lessons, activities, and trips will take place every week. The seminary won't be just for single women or for those returning to observance, or just for local residents, but a warm home for all demographics, for anyone who finds herself there."

"The moment I said those words," she recounts excitedly, "a participant named Lea stood up, approached me, and shared in front of everyone that she too has a dream - she owns a building of a synagogue and always wanted to establish a seminary there. Now, she offered to join forces with me, and together, we would fulfill both our dreams."

This wonderful collaboration started, as mentioned, a year ago. Since then, within just a month, the 'Shirat Halev' Seminary was established on Rashi Street in Ramla. But alongside it, something else marvelous and interesting happened.

"During the seminary's establishment, I was in a difficult situation," shares Bat-El, "My two-year-old son was diagnosed with severe hearing loss in both ears. Some doctors claimed he couldn't hear at all. My partner Lea also had a young child, a four-year-old with a speech problem. He couldn't speak, and she was very concerned. We decided that we both open our mouths to bring people closer and strengthen them, praying that in return Hashem would open our children's mouths too."

"Within one month," Bat-El says, her voice trembling with excitement, "Lea's son started speaking, not just syllables, but actual words. My son also underwent a hearing test, revealing that in one ear he can indeed hear with a functioning nerve. This is an absolute miracle because before he went through similar tests that always indicated severe hearing loss in both ears. I feel I'm witnessing a direct measure for measure, as all the while I prayed to Hashem that in return for me speaking and strengthening the daughters of Israel with my mouth, He would give my son the strength and ability to hear words of holiness."

And the seminary? Bat-El expresses satisfaction that it continues to grow and flourish. "Every week, we meet there and study Torah lessons. I give a regular class and, afterwards, various lecturers come. Women from all sectors and styles, from all over the country, including from the south and the Kiryat areas, come to us."

Bat-El notes that since she herself returned to observance and experienced many challenges in her past, she manages to share and embrace the girls. "I think it's said - 'No one is wise but he who has experience,' because I simply understand them.

Finally, Bat-El notes that this Thursday another challah separation ceremony will be held at their seminary. "We anticipate that more women will come this time than last year, and we hope to continue strengthening, being strengthened, and witnessing openly visible miracles."
