The daughter of the U.S. President, Ivanka Trump, gave an interview yesterday (Monday) to the American network 'Fox & Friends.' In the interview, Ivanka spoke about her father, husband, and children, and highlighted her excitement from her visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
"It was a special moment," Ivanka said regarding her visit to the Western Wall. "I was so moved that I have no words to describe it. That moment when my family and I stood alone before the Wall, it's indescribable, and I feel blessed."
"My father tries very hard to care for the welfare of war veterans and retired soldiers; it's a top priority for him. The rumors about tensions among the president's team are untrue, we are all working together and focused on the important goal of caring for citizens," Ivanka said. "I have to say, I was surprised by the malice and cruelty of the media against him."
Ivanka added that her father feels "very justified" after the statements made by the former FBI Director James Comey in his recent Senate testimony. As recalled, in his testimony, Comey accused Trump of pressuring him to end the investigation into Russia's involvement in the U.S. elections.
Referring to the photographers that follow her everywhere in Washington, Ivanka said that she tries to avoid them. "I always try to exit from various places to escape the photographers, but my kids are very happy here in Washington, so it's all fine."
Ivanka spoke about her husband, Jared Kushner, who is considered one of the powerful figures in the White House. "My husband really loves his job. You saw the results he achieved during his visits to Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Rome; he's trying very hard to succeed," she said.
