Guy Zuaretz is a beloved television host for various channel programs, and he even hosted the Bible Quiz this year. Zuaretz (43) is married to Yael Bar Zohar, and they have three children: Yali (9), Uri (5), and Leah (1).

In an interview with 'Israel Hayom', Zuaretz talks about his closeness to Judaism and his wife's support. "I grew up between sacred and secular," he says. "Today, I bring sacred values into my life. We perform kiddush and go to synagogue; I introduce Jewish values and play the weekly Torah portion for the children. On Shabbat, we mostly stay home. I also don't work on Shabbat, preferring to be with family."

When the interviewer asked, "Do you see yourself becoming more religious?", Zuaretz answered surprisingly: "I see myself delving deeper into Kabbalah, learning more things. I have an old dream of being a cantor in a synagogue. I remember how my grandfather used to lead and sing, and I'd watch him."

And what about his wife? "Yael is completely with me in this closeness to religion. She comes from a very secular home and has a strong thirst for tradition. The Shabbat table proves itself."

When hosted on journalist Dudu Cohen's program 'In a Different Direction', he talked about his and his wife's approach to child education: "Everything starts at home. The work you do at home is the fruits you'll reap later. Will they see mom and dad on their iPhones all day or immersed in material things? They will become like that," Zuaretz expressed in the interview, "In our home, the kids know how to sing all the liturgical songs. Sometimes they come with me to synagogue, and it's our ongoing work to integrate them into it smoothly. When I see them today, I'm pleased."

On the question of how his wife Yael 'flows' with this interesting educational approach, Zuaretz said: "She really loves it and appreciates it immensely. She has a thirst for it - simplicity, tradition, Judaism. She is more dedicated than me to Kabbalah classes. No doubt, she's strong in this. And both of us, you know, step cautiously and calmly into it. We understand its contribution."
