#VALUE!
Indeed, the past week was terrible for the Israeli branch of the giant company 'IKEA', whose Netanya branch burned down last Shabbat due to an electrical short, causing tremendous damage worth hundreds of millions of shekels. However, the company's CEO, Shlomi Gabai, made quite a surprising statement this week, declaring that the fire ended without casualties thanks to Shabbat observance and strict kosher standards in the restaurant operated at the branch. By the way, one of the branch owners in the country is the ultra-Orthodox businessman Shalom Fisher.
Gabai went even further and termed the incident, which ended without casualties, as a miracle and a result of divine providence. "To our great happiness, and thank God, we are ending this difficult event without casualties and without any harm," said IKEA's CEO, Gabai. "A great miracle happened to us at this store. A great miracle where divine providence protected us so that no one was harmed physically. The fact that we are a Shabbat-observant organization, and the fact that we have taken care to strictly kosher all its parts and all its aspects, the fact that we exercise special diligence - this was our divine providence in this difficult event."
Gabai estimates that it will take a considerable amount of time to restore the branch, but he is clear about the direction that must be continued. "With Hashem's help, within half a year to a year, we will return this Shabbat-observant, strictly kosher store to the entire house of Israel, as it was in the past," he promised.
