For the fish, we bless "Shehakol" (initial blessing)

At the end of the meal we bless "Borei Nefashot" (concluding blessing)

The eating amount required to be obligated in the concluding blessing (from "Daily Halacha" by the rulings of Maran Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l):

For anything a person eats, they must recite a "first blessing," such as the blessing "Shehakol" or "Ha'etz." Even if they eat only a small amount, they must bless on it, as long as it is being eaten for the purpose of eating. (However, if one only tastes the food to improve it with spices, no blessing is recited at all). Therefore, someone who chews flavored gum must bless due to deriving pleasure from the taste, even if they swallow very little. Similarly, when one drinks something, they must bless even if they consume only a single drop.

However, this is specifically regarding the first blessing. The concluding blessing is only recited when a significant amount, "important eating," is consumed. The measure for this "important eating" is the volume of an egg-size, that is, twenty-seven grams, and for drinking, the measure is a "Revi'it," which is eighty-one grams.

Additionally, the eating or drinking must occur within a time frame where they combine into a cohesive act. For example, if someone ate an egg-size of bread over an entire day, bit by bit, they certainly cannot recite the concluding blessing. Rather, the consumption of the egg-size must be within the time frame of "eating a Pras," and there is a disagreement among scholars about this duration, with some stating it is five minutes and others seven and a half minutes (and other opinions exist). Therefore, it is correct to always strive to eat the egg-size (especially at Shabbat meals) within four and a half minutes to fulfill all opinions.

Regarding the concluding blessing for drinks, one must drink a Revi'it of the liquid (eighty-one grams) at once. If they sip and pause between sips, no concluding blessing is recited. Therefore, someone who drinks soup with a spoon does not say the concluding blessing on that soup, as they did not consume a Revi'it in one go; similarly, one who drinks hot coffee or tea does not recite the concluding blessing, because they cannot drink it all at once.
