A combined car-ramming and stabbing attack struck Gush Etzion Junction this afternoon around 2:00 p.m., leaving three Israelis injured before the two terrorists were shot and neutralized. The attack began when a car sped into civilians standing at the junction, according to initial reports from the IDF and emergency responders.

The IDF said at the start, “A report has been received of a vehicular and stabbing attack in the area of Gush Junction in the Etzion Brigade; details are under review.” After hitting several people, the two terrorists exited the vehicle armed with knives and attempted to stab additional Israelis before being neutralized at close range.

Magen David Adom issued an updated statement saying that medics, together with an IDF medical team, pronounced the death of a man around 30 who had sustained a stab wound. Three additional victims were evacuated to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem: a woman around 40 in serious condition, and a man around 30 and a 15-year-old boy in moderate condition, all suffering penetrating injuries.

As the attack scene was secured, IDF troops expanded operations across the area and began encircling villages near the Gush Etzion sector, searching for any possible accomplices or support infrastructure connected to the terrorists.
