Exploring the Flood: Scientific Insights into Noah's Deluge
Histories of global peoples trace back only about 4,000 years. Intriguingly, no cultures boast lineages predating Noah's Flood.

#VALUE!
The holy Torah reveals that Hashem caused a global flood after humanity strayed and sinned. Today, a wealth of scientific data worldwide points to this astonishing truth:
A. A scientific look at the earth's grand mountains, valleys, and canyons indicates a worldwide natural catastrophe. Geological science tells us that the Earth's interior consists of nine giant plates known as "tectonic plates." Seas and continents move over these plates like boats on water, and every movement spawns deadly earthquakes and tsunamis, forming mountains and valleys! Therefore, the significant mountains and valleys testify to the massive tectonic plate movements in Earth's history. In describing the flood, there's even a Scripture verse, "all the fountains of the great deep burst forth" (Genesis 7:11).
B. Astonishingly, marine fossils such as shells and fish skeletons are found not only on shores and by the sea but also in arid, waterless places like the Sahara, Gobi deserts, and even the Negev. Shells and fish fossils are found on the highest mountains, like the Rockies and Everest, suggesting all continents were once submerged under the sea, precisely as the Torah states: "the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth, and all the high hills under the whole sky were covered" (Genesis 7:19).
C. Moreover, on all continents exist fossils of extinct animals (like dinosaurs) believed to have perished in a sudden natural disaster. Fossils form only under extraordinary conditions that trap animals in muddy environments where they fossilize.
D. Historically, it appears that all global timelines of peoples begin around 4,000 years ago. Indeed, there are no lineages older than the time of Noah's Flood!
E. Additionally, various cultures, though separated by continents and oceans for millennia, tell similar stories of a global flood from ancient times, even describing Noah's ark similarly. Hundreds of similar accounts exist worldwide, and it's implausible to dismiss them as mere coincidences. This is evidence that these peoples are descendants of Noah's sons - Shem, Ham, and Japheth - who passed down the tale of Noah and the flood through their ancestors.
F. But how did animals reach different continents post-flood? Science discovered that all continents were once connected (as noted in Genesis 1:9), only gradually drifting apart. To this day, remnants of these connections are visible, illustrating how humans and animals migrated to continents like Australia and America.
Thus, science repeatedly confirms what the Jewish people have always known, thanks to their sacred Torah.
