Remembering Rabbi Yaish Krispin: A Legacy of Faith and Wisdom

Rabbi Yaish ben Rabbi Moshe Krispin, a righteous figure of blessed memory, was born in the village of Ait Ayoub, in the Taroudant region of Morocco. He was esteemed as the rabbi of the villages in the Taroudant area and was revered as a mystical sage, renowned for his miraculous acts. Known for his holy conduct, he lived a life detached from worldly matters, characterized by his great piety and humility.
Rabbi Krispin dedicated himself to studying the holy Torah day and night, and was recognized as a master of all its teachings. He possessed deep knowledge of Pardes, and was particularly versed in the secrets of Kabbalah and the holy writings of the Ari, of blessed memory, may his merit protect us.

Rabbi Krispin taught many students, instilling in them a reverence for Hashem and impeccable character traits. He was known for delivering sermons to the masses, with listeners recalling that the Torah spoken from his mouth felt as if it had been given at Mount Sinai.
Rabbi Krispin authored numerous works covering all aspects of the Torah. Among them, his notable composition "In You, Israel is Blessed" explores the twenty-two letters of the Torah, following the sacred tradition of the Chida, of blessed memory. Another famous work is "Rose Blossom," which addresses the Five Books of Moses.
Rabbi Yaish Krispin passed away on the 16th of Tevet, 5699, and was buried in the village of Bahamo in Morocco.
