There Is a God
The Miracles of the Torah: Unmatched Wonders Witnessed by an Entire Nation
Unlike any other faith, the Torah records public, nation-wide miracles, proving a divine power that shaped history and revealed eternal truth

While other religions cannot point to even a single large-scale miracle, the Torah — the foundation of Judaism — describes an extraordinary series of national wonders, witnessed by the entire people of Israel. These were not private visions or stories told by a few individuals, but open, world-shaking events that transformed history.
The Torah recounts the Nile River turning completely into blood, the plague of frogs, lice, wild beasts, pestilence, boils, fire and hail descending together from the heavens, locusts, darkness, and the death of the firstborns — an event that could only have been performed by a power capable of acting simultaneously across every home in Egypt, knowing precisely who was firstborn and who was not.
Afterward there was the splitting of the Red Sea, the pillar of fire and cloud guiding the Israelites through the desert, manna falling from heaven, Miriam’s well that provided water in the wilderness, the earth swallowing Korach and his followers, the walls of Jericho collapsing at the sound of shofars, and of course — the most extraordinary revelation in human history: God’s voice heard by an entire nation at Mount Sinai.
The Torah presents a “Big Bang” of divine wonders on a national scale — dozens of miracles witnessed publicly by millions — while in all other religions, not one such event is recorded.
The Torah Predicted This Uniqueness 3,300 Years Ago
The Torah itself declared this truth in advance, more than three millennia ago: “Ask now about the days that are past, which were before you… Has anything so great ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? Has any people ever heard the voice of God speaking out of the fire, as you have heard, and lived? Or has any god ever tried to take for himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, like all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? You were shown to know that the Lord is God; there is none else besides Him.” (Devarim 4:32–35)
This verse remains as powerful today as it was then: no other civilization, culture, or religion has ever claimed — let alone proven — a public revelation witnessed by an entire nation.
Why Magic and Sorcery Cannot Compete
Other cultures had magicians, mystics, and dreamers, but never national miracles. Logically, that makes sense, as sorcery or human manipulation cannot create a global event, because all power in existence originates from the Creator, who alone governs the universe.
A strong person might lift a heavy stone, but it would be absurd to think they could move a mountain. Likewise, no human — no matter how powerful — could create a universe, strike every firstborn in Egypt at once, or part a sea to drown an army. The power to form worlds and control nature belongs only to the Creator.
The notion of sorcerers controlling heaven and earth defies logic and would render our universe chaotic and meaningless — a random, irrational existence, not one designed by supreme intelligence. Yet our reality operates with perfect order, consistency, and mathematical precision.
A Rational, Ordered Universe Points to a Divine Designer
We can see that God created a deeply logical world, governed by consistent natural laws. Humanity was given reason, conscience, and a moral compass to discern truth and justice. These gifts themselves reveal the hand of the Creator — the One who grants understanding and allows those who seek Him to discover His presence and His eternal wisdom.
When we look across world history, we find no other religion that can claim divine revelation witnessed by an entire nation. Such an event happened only once, when God revealed Himself to millions of men, women, and children, performing miracles of unfathomable scale and power.
That singular moment established forever that the Torah is not merely a collection of stories, but a record of truth — the eternal covenant between the Creator and humanity.
The miracles of the Torah stand alone in human history — not as legends, but as the testimony of a nation that saw with its own eyes that the laws of nature bow before their Creator.
