#VALUE!

The Shabbat meal has just ended, and you're tidying up the kitchen, clearing the surfaces and washing the dishes according to halachah (Jewish law).

But wait... the sink is no longer as sparkling and clean as it was when Shabbat began.

May one pour bleach into the sink on Shabbat in order to disinfect it?

The answer is yes, there is no problem with pouring disinfectants into a sink on Shabbat; similarly, one may also pour disinfectant into a toilet bowl.
