Why Tap Water Today Isn't as Healthy as the Water We Drank Before

What's the difference between "living water" and the water we usually drink, and what should we be drinking?

In ancient times, people around the world drank natural water from wells, springs, streams, or rainwater collection pools. Those who consumed "living water"—water flowing in nature—received water purified by air mixing, contact with soil, rocks, plants, and animals—all providing the water with vitality. One of the benefits of "living water" is its low acidity (more alkaline water has numerous health benefits). There is evidence that direct exposure to such water (a shower in a waterfall of living water) can instantly refresh and revitalize body and mind.

Besides consuming excellent water quality in the past, in some places water was boiled to remove microorganisms and filtered through dense cotton fabric to remove worms, sand, dust, and the like. In the past, sources of water were "living water," free from today’s pollutants like industrial waste, fuel, and pollutants from airplanes, smoke from traffic, etc.

Unfortunately, today natural water doesn't maintain its quality as it did many years ago due to human-caused environmental pollution. Tap water is even further from being "living water" due to its transportation through pipes. Many today drink "stagnant" water from taps or home filtration devices, and it's important to understand that the flow of water there is halted, reducing quality and leading to staleness, bacterial activity, making it less suitable for drinking and cooking. Additionally, there is now desalinated seawater arriving in some homes, which has its own disadvantages.

The good news is that two wonderful, simple methods have been developed for drinking quality water:

1. "Reverse osmosis" is a great method to remove water solubles, leaving only the water molecule itself, H2O. What about minerals? This filtration process includes a mineralizer that adds back certain minerals like potassium, calcium, and magnesium (one can also rely on food to receive essential minerals, not solely from water).

2. A method for enhancing and reviving water, like in nature, using spinning magnets and more.

These two methods together will provide you with water characterized by better taste, clean smell, bacteria-free purity, and undoubtedly better health.
