#VALUE!
One of the most comforting (and slightly peculiar) things about grandma's remedies is that they work. Somehow, a mix of ingredients from the kitchen turns into a strengthening remedy that makes us feel better in no time.
Perhaps the phrase "grandma's remedy" does the trick, or maybe it's the array of natural ingredients (which we sometimes overlook in our pursuit of over-the-counter medicine) that simply works. Either way, this paste is the simplest you can make as a grandma's remedy. It contains only 5 ingredients, all very healthy and natural, and it's definitely worth making, if only for the incredible color it produces.
Ingredients You Likely Have in Your Kitchen:
(Alright, except for coconut oil which is a great addition to your shopping list since it's packed with goodness)
- 4 tablespoons turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ginger (preferably freshly grated)
- A dash of pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey, as raw and natural as possible
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (these days you can find it in every supermarket, no excuses)
- 10 tablespoons water
Preparation Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients to create a stunning golden paste. The paste can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month, which is both convenient and time-saving. Add a tablespoon to a cup of almond, soy, or rice milk, or any other plant-based milk, mix, and drink.
