"The whole purpose of life is to become who we truly are and to fulfill the potential Hashem placed within us."
—Baruch S.

If you’ve been told you have ADHD or as we prefer to call it, rhythm and dance, then know this: you’ve been blessed with unique gifts. These aren’t weaknesses to be ashamed of. They are powerful tools placed inside you for a purpose.

People with ADHD often have an extraordinary ability to connect with others. They know how to win hearts and make others feel seen. They respond quickly, pick up on things others miss, and often carry a rich, creative inner world.

They’re alert, agile, and fast learners. They adapt quickly to new situations, read the room with intuition, and move through the world with a kind of joyful spontaneity. There’s something magnetic about them like a personal charm, charisma, a spark that draws others in. They’re full of energy, openness, and life.

Even when they don’t fit neatly into structured systems, their ambition and creativity find their own path. They love to succeed, dream big, and jump into action with passion and excitement. Their minds are full of ideas, and their independence gives them courage to take risks and think differently.

They’re imaginative and persuasive, often inspiring others with their vision. They love learning new things, starting fresh projects, and jumping into challenges with bold enthusiasm. They see the big picture, they move fast, and they don’t like to wait. They’re masters at resolving conflict with grace, finding win-win solutions that leave people smiling.

They’re fearless in the face of uncertainty. They thrive on newness and stimulation. They’re deeply intuitive and often feel things before they can explain them. They work well with others, enjoy new people and places, and radiate a sense of honesty and joyful openness.

There’s a thirst within them for expression, for movement, for life itself. They’re brave, open-hearted, quick to adapt, and full of potential just waiting to bloom. Their natural coordination, passion, and spark are all signs of their spiritual energy. This isn’t a flaw. It’s a calling.

Yes, ADHD presents its challenges. But when seen through the lens of Torah and emunah (faith), we begin to understand: these traits were given by Hashem. And just like every soul is unique, so is its mission. The enthusiasm, creativity, and movement are part of a soul that was sent into this world to bring light in its own special way.

So let’s stop calling it a disorder. Let’s recognize the brachah (blessing) hidden inside, and support our children, our students, and ourselves with love, understanding, and encouragement. Because when we do, we’ll see the rhythm isn’t random, it’s holy.
