Do you talk, but feel like people just aren't listening? Do you feel ignored or uninteresting? A new study has found that the key to making people like you might be in the coffee they drink in the morning.

The study, published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, found an intriguing fact: drinking coffee before starting a conversation can help people focus more intensely. More importantly, it makes them like the person they're interacting with and think of them positively.

Researchers arrived at these conclusions after studying the impact of coffee drinking on group dynamics and integration, particularly in work environments. They conducted an experiment with 134 regular coffee-drinking students, who were then divided into two groups. Each group discussed a selected topic for fifteen minutes, but only one group drank coffee before the discussion.

Based on the experiment's results, researchers observed that students who had coffee before the discussion found it easier to focus on the other participants' words. They were also more inclined to view them positively and agree with them.

"The study was conducted on people who regularly consume coffee," said Vasu Anava, who led the research. "For them, it seems that coffee makes them more alert, more focused in their thinking, and more willing to engage in group tasks."
