A study has found that people who regularly eat pistachios experience improved heart health. While many studies have highlighted the benefits of nuts, pistachios have gained special attention in recent years for their particularly positive impact on cardiovascular health.
Several nutritional studies have shown that regular pistachio consumption not only supports heart health but may also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Pistachios are a rich source of monounsaturated fats, a key component of a heart-healthy diet. These fats help lower levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol in the blood, reducing the risk of plaque buildup in the arteries and, in turn, lowering the likelihood of heart problems.
