Have you ever been told you look younger than your age? A viral TikTok video by an American doctor reveals how you can make your body function as if it's 20 years younger.
Dr. Mark Hyman, 63, is the Head of Strategy at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. In the video, he lists several foods that can help you maintain optimal health and slow aging.
1. Vegetables – specifically cabbage, cauliflower, and collard greens. According to him, “These vegetables contain compounds that detoxify the body and optimize vitamin and mineral levels.” They're rich in folic acid, vitamin K, and various minerals, helping cleanse toxins and reduce inflammation.

2. Olive oil - one of the best sources of healthy fats. “Healthy fats are essential for our bodies. We need to ensure our fat sources are beneficial, and olive oil fits that description,” he says, noting its strong anti-inflammatory properties.
3. Nuts - a superfood loaded with vitamins, protein, and nutrients that help combat diabetes and support overall well-being.
4. Fruits - particularly blueberries, strawberries, and similar berries, which are packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds.
5. Green tea - contains catechins that aid the body and offer a variety of health benefits.
These foods, says Dr. Hyman, can collectively help rejuvenate your body and promote longevity.
