Dr. Nikita Toushi is well-regarded in dermatology, and when she recommends rubbing ice cubes on your face, we believe it works. "Rubbing ice cubes on facial skin is a popular home remedy for beautiful skin," she writes. "This isn't a new technique for me. I've been using it for a long time, especially in the summer, when the weather is hot."

According to Dr. Toushi, rubbing an ice cube on the face after a particularly busy day offers numerous beauty and skincare benefits. "It boosts blood circulation to your face, making it glow," she writes in a detailed blog post where she also recommends doing circular massages several times a day with an ice cube on the jawline, chin, lips, nose, cheeks, neck, and forehead.

"Purified water always benefits our health, especially our skin's health. It removes all toxins from our body and cleanses dead cells. One of the best qualities of ice is its anti-inflammatory capability, which helps reduce and heal acne. It soothes inflamed skin and decreases the overproduction of sebum, which is the main culprit behind acne," she explains.

She notes that cosmeticians do not share this because they want us to purchase expensive products that often do not achieve the desired result. "In contrast, ice will gradually make your skin brighter and healthier because it enhances the oxygen level in the skin and provides essential nutrients," she concludes.
