Did you wake up tired because you couldn't fall asleep last night? From tonight, everything might look different. Here are two tricks to help you sleep better.

1. Lower the Room Temperature

According to Dr. Chris Winter, a neurologist and sleep expert, to create a better sleep experience, it is recommended to lower the room temperature. This significantly affects our ability to fall asleep.

The expert told "The Daily Mail" that the bedroom temperature should be between 15-20 degrees Celsius. The reason is that a few minutes before falling asleep, our body temperature drops, with a significant drop occurring during sleep itself. Therefore, maintaining a low room temperature will affect the sleep course, unlike a high room temperature, which can hinder the stage when the brain enters REM sleep.

He suggests gradually lowering the cooling level in the room to avoid sudden changes and to monitor how the temperature affects our body.

2. Open the Window

According to a study published in the journal Building and Environment, involving 40 participants, it was found that opening the bedroom window at night and letting fresh air into the room results in better and longer sleep. Participants reported that sleeping with the window open made them less tired in the morning.

It's worth trying.
