This Fitness Duo Warns: Never Diet for More Than 21 Days, Here's Why

For years, two renowned fitness trainers in the U.S. have developed a weight loss method encompassing diverse nutrition tips and specific exercise recommendations they claim are essential.

For several years, two well-known fitness trainers in the U.S. have worked on documenting their weight loss method, which includes not only tips for a rich and varied diet but also recommendations for specific exercises that, according to them, solely aid in weight loss.

The pair, Jordan Syatt and Michael Vacanti, became famous in the United States through their book 'Eat This,' which turned into a bestseller and even a television show.

"If you're going for brisk walks to lose weight - you're wasting your time," they write in their book, promising to 'reveal' the workout type that truly helps with weight loss. Brisk walking, yoga, pilates, and even machine exercises aren't dismissed—they emphasize that any physical activity is beneficial but clarify, "It depends on your initial goal. If your goal is to lose weight, these won't help. While all sports are healthy, if the goal is long-term weight loss, the only method we recommend is strength training with weights.

What's the issue with other methods? According to them, any sport you enjoy and connect with is worth continuing. However, other sports, aside from weight strength training, don't burn calories significantly. "These workouts are the only ones that, on one hand, burn fat and, on the other, build muscle. It's better to focus on the entire body rather than one area, even if your goal right now is to slim your abdomen. Training that strengthens all muscles and resting for 2-5 minutes between exercise sets is what you need."

The duo, who have trained tens of thousands of individuals, including celebrities who lost weight dramatically, state that no matter the diet type, "it must not exceed 21 consecutive days, because then the weight loss rate will stop." So, how should one diet? They suggest, "Diet for 21 days, then eat normally for another 21 days. You can repeat the diet and do another 21-day cycle."

According to them, workout recommendations are crucial. "In strength training aimed at weight loss, it's vital to rest and not practice them daily to allow muscles to build. If you choose strength training, ensure each session doesn't exceed 60 minutes and limit workouts to a maximum of three times per week."
