How to Make Healthy Malawach with Rice Paper
Yes, healthier malawach is possible! Discover a recipe that lets you savor the taste without compromising your health.

Many people love malawach, but it's high in calories and not great for your body or figure.
Traditional malawach is made with white flour, sugar, and margarine, and as a health enthusiast, I avoid such ingredients.
This recipe lets you enjoy the flavor without the health drawbacks.
Ingredients:
2-3 rice paper sheets (per malawach)
A light coating of olive oil or spray
For the batter:
3/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tablespoon natural silan
A pinch of Himalayan salt
Mix all the batter ingredients in a wide bowl.
Place a sheet of rice paper in the bowl and flip it around.
Add another sheet on top.
Ensure it's soaked up the liquid, then add the third sheet.
Heat a pan over medium heat and spray with oil. Place the soaked rice papers.
Fry for 2 minutes on each side.
Serve hot with tomato paste, schug, and a hard-boiled egg.
